In short: Yes. TypeAnApp builds a booking website for your tutoring or coaching, where students or parents choose a subject and level, book a free time and keep the same weekly slot. A private portal gives each student or client their own homework, notes and resources.

What you can build
A booking page and a private space for each student, instead of a diary, a pile of messages and worksheets sent by email. Parents see your free times and book. Students sign in to find this week’s homework and last week’s notes in one place.

What it costs
You can start on the free plan: one app and 25 build credits a month, enough to try it properly. Paid plans start at 19 a month (Basic), shown in dollars, pounds or euros depending on where you are. See the plans. Taking payment for lessons by card, your own domain and making the portal invite-only need a paid plan.
Frequently asked questions
Can parents book for their children?
Yes. Ask for parent accounts in chat. A parent books lessons and sees homework for their own children only.
Can a student keep the same time every week?
Yes. Ask for weekly bookings and the slot is held for that student each week, so other people can’t book it.
Can students see each other’s homework or notes?
No. Each student’s page is private to them, their parent and you. This is checked on our servers for every request.
Can I get paid when people book?
Yes, on a paid plan. You connect your own Stripe account and ask for payment per lesson or for a block of lessons. Payments go straight to you.
Does it work for life, business or sports coaches?
Yes. Describe your sessions and how you work with clients, and the site is written for that. The portal holds each client’s notes and goals instead of homework.
