Is the website grader really free?
Yes. You can check up to five websites a day without an account. You only need a free account to email yourself the report or to have TypeAnApp build a new site.
What does it check?
Your home page: the title and description Google shows, headings, picture descriptions, how many words Google can read, speed and page weight, the phone setup, a secure connection, and links that build trust like contact details and a privacy policy.
Why is my score different from other tools?
We read your page the way Google first does, without running its scripts, and we don’t run a full browser test. Other tools measure in other ways, so scores differ. The fixes are what count.
Do you keep my website?
We keep the address and the scores, never the page itself. If you don’t sign up, the result is deleted after 7 days.
Will “Fix it” copy my old website?
No. We use only your business name, a one-line description and the list of problems, and the AI writes fresh words. You see and can change the request before anything is built.
