What it costs
You can start on the free plan: one app and 25 build credits a month, enough to try it properly. Paid plans start at 19 a month (Basic), shown in dollars, pounds or euros depending on where you are. See the plans. Taking card payments for orders and using your own domain need a paid plan.
Frequently asked questions
Can customers order cakes online?
Yes. The bakery template has a cake request form for the date, size, flavour and message, and you get an email for each request. If you want people to pay when they order, start from the Bakery shop template, which takes card payments on a paid plan.
Can my staff update today’s bakes themselves?
Yes. Staff sign in to a private area and change the board. Customers only ever see the public pages.
Can I set collection times or a notice period for cakes?
Yes. Tell it in chat, for example "cakes need three days’ notice and collection is between 8am and 2pm", and it changes the form to match.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You describe what you want in plain words and change it the same way. You never have to touch code, though it is there if you want it.
Can I use my own web address?
Yes, on a paid plan you can connect a domain you own or buy one. On the free plan your site lives at a free <name>.typeanapp.app address.
